The industry marketing team at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is seeking a skilled and collaborative Marketing Manager. This is a challenging and action-oriented role in which the candidate will assist UKG in driving growth in various segments of the market.

The Industry Marketing Manager will create marketing plans for specific products and industries to establish, enhance or distinguish Kronos within the competitive workforce management and human capital management market. Other key responsibilities include developing marketing campaigns, overseeing market research, monitoring competitive activity and identifying customer needs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes the initiative to understand and become an expert in the industries they’ll be supporting – along with learning how human capital management and workforce management solutions can help organizations thrive.

This is an individual contributor role who will work closely with the Industry Director and team to execute the go-to-market plan for the Services & Distribution vertical.

• The focus of this role is to help support sales opportunities within the Services & Distribution vertical. As part of this you will research new and existing sub-vertical markets and use knowledge about consumers, trends, competition and customers to develop messages that will enable sales to be more effective
• Develop industry specific campaigns/programs and messaging, working with field marketing, demand generation, sales, and other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with sales on target accounts and assist with deal supporting initiatives including creating win themes, compelling presentations, high end demand creation, value propositions and differentiators
• Work with the Industry Director, Partner team and Sales to identify new partners, joint value propositions, messaging and sales tools to support and effectively launch them to the field
• Create content plans and assets that include industry thought leadership and specific industry messaging in support of various campaigns/programs
• Attend select trade shows, annual sales training and occasional customer site visits
• Understanding of the staffing industry, financial services industry, logistics/distribution industry, contingent workers/gig economy and contract services is a plus

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years enterprise software experience in marketing or product development
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience with Services & Distribution industry a plus (i.e. financial services, logistics, staffing, contract & field services)
• Self-starter who can identify problems and proactively suggest then execute solutions with minimal hands on supervision
• Candidates must be analytical, curious, creative and detail oriented with ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with a results-driven mentality
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work and collaborate cross-functionally
• Strong capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines to successful completion
• Aptitude for technology and ability to connect and translate concepts to customer value
• Ability to travel 25-30%
