IT Quality Assurance Analyst, Kronos Incorporated, Lowell, MA

Responsible for providing QA support as a member of the internal IT business systems test team. Specific duties will include:

• Participating in planning, monitoring and control of testing activities on complex, multi-technology platforms and systems.
• Working with Service Oriented Architecture, Virtualized systems and Cloud-based systems that support sales cloud, service and communities, quoting and service contracts.
• Working with testing Informatica integrations.
• Preparing test strategies and test plans covering components as well as End to End testing for specified functional as well non-functional requirements.
• Execute manual and automated system tests and regularly maintenance of the regression test suites.
• Ensure defects and incidents are identified, prioritized and dealt with, and that any new versions of software are released in a controlled and timely manner.
• Regularly attend project meetings, knowledge sessions and coordinate with Onsite team members.
• Maintaining documentation of test results, effective and reusable test data creation.
• Liaising with Global test team, development and the business to ensure deadlines are met. Defining strategies to build and enhance automation coverage of business process testing.
• Assist in implementation of company specific as well as industry standard best practices \ processes.
• Develop and execute automated test suites using Selenium.


Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Must also have experience with: (i) leading large complex QA projects or change programs across multiple technical disciplines; (ii) testing of web, database and web services technologies; (iii) End to End testing for cloud and integrated systems as well as with SaaS and SOA testing; (iv) standard test automation tools and frameworks including specifically Selenium WebDriver, Agile Accelerator, HP ALM, Rally, Service Now, SQL Developer, TOAD, testing of, Oracle EBS, PEGA Systems, Informatica, EDW and Tableau Reporting systems and applications. Must also have experience working in an Agile development environment.
