Description

The Funds Operation Specialist is responsible for daily banking functions across the client base. Daily functions include managing banking activities and deadlines for transmission of wire collection files, reconciliation of funds transfers, and transmission of ACH collection files. While the Funds Operation Specialist role is very deadline-oriented, with specific timelines for daily processes, they also function within a cohesive team supporting each member as needed with tax and payroll functions.
• Manage daily banking and treasury activities
• Review and execution of daily banking activities and client financial transactions, including reconciliation and balancing of transactions
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding banking questions, unsettled payroll tax and direct deposit funds. Provide banking notifications related to direct deposit processing to clients via Salesforce cases
• Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from internal and external departments
• Preparation of monthly client billing and department metrics
• Interfaces with Banking Relations, Clients, and Kronos staff
• Manage Salesforce cases in a timely manner, addressing any concerns and maintaining effective communication with clients and partners
• Build and improve upon current policies and procedures
• Demonstrate integrity, ethics, accountability, responsibility, initiative and teamwork
• Perform all assigned job duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standard practices
• Assist with various tax and payroll duties
• Provide backup and assistance to other team members as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• 2 + years of Accounting or Banking / Finance experience
• Ability to quickly learn banking and work within a payroll tax software
• Ability to meet critical deadlines
• Understanding of Accounting procedures, banking activity and reconciliation.
• Must be willing to work a later shift (typically until 7pm)
