Description

The Funds Operation Specialist functions within a cohesive team supporting each member with their individual duties to include all tax functions and payroll specialist support. The Funds Specialist will assist with daily payroll processing and audit of new client configurations as well as analyzing payroll history to client payroll tax returns.
• Manage daily banking activities and acts as liaison with treasury department and bank contacts.
• Review and execution of daily banking activities and client financial transactions, including reconciliation of incoming transactions and client communication for collection of unfunded transactions
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding banking questions, unsettled payroll tax and direct deposit funds. Provide banking notifications related to direct deposit processing to clients via Salesforce cases
• Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from internal and external departments
• Auditing of client company configurations
• Preparation of monthly client billing and department metrics
• Interfaces with Banking Relations, Clients, and Kronos staff
• Manage Salesforce cases in a timely manner, addressing any concerns and maintaining effective communication with clients and partners
• Build and improve upon current policies and procedures
• Maintain proactive relationship with taxing authorities
• Demonstrate integrity, ethics, accountability, responsibility, initiative and teamwork
• Perform all assigned job duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standard practices
• Provide backup and assistance to other team members as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• 3 + years of Accounting and Treasury Management experience
• Ability to quickly learn banking, workforce management and payroll tax software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet critical deadlines
• Understanding of Accounting procedures, banking activity and impounding and disbursement of funds
