The Finance Business Operations Specialist will perform critical master data activities within the organization’s item registration arena. This position reports to the Assoc. Manager of Finance Business Operations.

About the Job:
•Responsible for monitoring the Item Registration queue for questions and requests
•Create and troubleshoot attributes within the Oracle Item Master and within Salesforce Products
•Update and maintain Oracle Pricelists
•Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, IT, and Sales Operations on new items / updates to existing items
•Maintain an Excel price book that is utilized by teams throughout the organization
•Help to identify process inefficiencies and failure points within the Item Registration workflows
•Participate in the team’s training in systems changes and enhancements in Salesforce, Oracle, and additional software programs in place
•Analyze and assess current process documentation to define and participate in improvements
•Learn and support product-specific billing activities
•Ability to develop into Subject Matter Expert with the department’s technology platforms
•Additional duties as assigned including act as backup on Month/Quarter End

Qualifications

•Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the software industry and college degree preferred
•Strong knowledge in Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications
•Experience in master data functionality in ERP systems is a plus
•Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
•Strong time management skills and ability to work towards deadlines
•Strong analytical skills and comfort with questioning information provided by others
•Ability to support extended hours, particularly around month and quarter-end closes
