Our new Interaction Designer – UX will join the UX/UI team in Montreal and will be at the heart of KRONOS' two largest software suites: Workforce Dimensions and Workforce Central.

You are someone who brings fresh ideas and you want to help our corporate customers and their employees have a better work experience? You'll be designing Cloud / SaaS-based products using the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, XD) as well as Sketch.

A typical day:

• Translate strategy, business requirements and usability best practices into high-quality, customer-centric designs that support and reinforce Kronos’s product vision, and business objectives

• Understand customer needs and work with the UX team to design human/computer interfaces, that are powerful and yet ease to use

• Organize diverse business requirements and architect the flow of information into an intuitive, coherent, easy-to-navigate application

• Document user interface designs and user interactions with process flows, storyboards, wireframes, and screen specifications

• Identify opportunities to improve the usability of customer interactions

• Work well in multi-disciplinary groups including technical, business, and customer experience perspectives

• Work with other designers and programmers to achieve strong interaction and technological solutions without sacrificing usability.


• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, with a focus in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors or Software Ergonomics and / or equivalent
• Experience and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience (this is not a visual design position)
• Understanding interaction design techniques to create engaging user experiences
• Strong communication skills with product teams and developers; must have the ability to articulate design decisions
• Remains up-to-date and strategically applies the latest trends in design
• Knowledge of commonly used Interaction Design methods and techniques, such as Task Analysis and Prototype
• Mastery of the Adobe suite and Sketch
• French speaking, a strong asset
