The Event Coordinator will organize the logistics and strategic objectives for a portion of the corporate marketing trade show calendar and the exposition at KronosWorks, the World’s Leading Workforce Information Exchange, which takes place each November with over 2,000 Kronos customers. Customers attend from all over the world to gain training, learn about Kronos solutions and products, meet the Kronos experts and network with their peers. Our 1 ½ day KronosWorks exposition is a major piece of the conference where nearly every attendee spends time to meet, learn, and network. In this role you will work independently and manage individual trade show projects and KronosWorks exposition to a successful outcome by project managing the logistics, deliverables, budget, staffing, lead process, show objectives, and on-site activities resulting in a smoothly executed, productive event.

Specific Responsibilities include:
•Create and follow project timelines that include tasks, due dates, resources and manage multiple projects concurrently. Deliver results on or ahead of deadline
•Produce work according to guidelines including process, vendor management, procurement, legal, and budget tracking
•Create or use established reporting procedures to ensure smooth process for partner exhibitor registration and sponsorship development and sales, payment, onsite exposition management
•Coordinate with program management partner on overall industry demand gen program, as well as, research and summarize information for recommendations on new industry tradeshows.
•Onsite tradeshow booth supervision that includes: Pre-trip: staffing and hotel reservations. Onsite: supervise install and dismantle of the booth, booth supervision traffic building activities, lead acquisition, and shipping of assets.
•Night and weekend work and/or travel required on occasion
•Within a set time period, develop a basic understanding of Kronos solutions and domains

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with 2-4+ years of experience coordinating tradeshow logistics and working on marketing programs
•Basic knowledge of accounting principles including balance sheet and reconciliation process for revenue and expenses
•Strong customer service skills demonstrated by a desire to exceed expectations of internal clients and Kronos customers including interpersonal relations, communication skills, and problem resolution
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible and energetic
•Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 suite including Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and an aptitude for marketing program software such as Eloqua
•Must be able to work independently and travel ten to twelve weeks to evaluate, supervise, and staff events.
