As part of the TOPS organization, The ScrumMaster will lead Scrum Teams in Sprint Planning, execution, and closing. He/she will also serves as coach for Scrum Teams to improve collaboration and self-organization. You will work with Product Owners and Team on backlog refinement and prioritizations with headlines having low risk, and/or complexity. May also contribute to one or more Tiger Teams.

Working with guidance and direction from your manager, additional responsibilities include;
• Building knowledge of the company, processes and customers
• Participating in one or more initiatives to improve Kronos' scrum practices, reporting, and processes
• Ensuring that the Definition of Ready has been met for each Epic and help product owner to make sure the product backlogs are groomed and prioritized for the next sprint
• Organizing and facilitating sprint planning meetings, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, and retrospectives
• Working to build Executive Presence by being active during team meetings and presentations, contributing where asked and building knowledge of Kronos' Scrum Master role as well as Kronos' implementation of scrum and kanban processes
• May provide basic guidance to new Scrum Masters or Scrum Team members in the PMO organization


• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience leading scrum teams in agile software development programs
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
• Knowledge of tasks, stories, epics, headlines etc. Also, burn-down and burn-up charts, backlog tracking, and velocity metrics and how they are used to manage a scrum team
• Knowledge of Strategic and Incremental Planning activities for upcoming releases affecting the teams
• Scrum Master Certification desired or working towards certification
