The Kronos New Product Development team is looking for a passionate Engineering Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will be someone who knows how to lead by example and will bring out the best in their teams; someone who knows when to say "no" and someone who knows when to push for the best results. We are looking for someone who is innovative and someone to act as a positive force while sharing Scrum Knowledge across the organization.

• Act as Scrum master for 2-3 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work
• Facilitate agile ceremonies - daily standup, planning, review and retrospectives
• Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog shovel ready
• Ensure cross-team coordination
• Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
• Identify and maintain relevant metrics that gives the team insight into how they are doing
• Identify and address challenges in the Scrum process that negatively impact team productivity
• Work with other scrum masters in our product team. Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams
• Liaise between the developers and User Experience/Visual Designers. Foster better communication between the disciplines
• Act as a project manager when necessary and take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties or between our team and other scrum teams
• Participate and help to facilitate the Scrum Master Community of practice in the local site
• Interact with other Scrum Masters in different geographies to foster on-going improvement in the global development process
• Ensure information coming from the team (budget, velocity, impediments, risks) is shared clearly and efficiently to the leadership teams and other scrum teams as required


• BS/BA in computer science or related field
• System development process tools and methodologies (Scrum and agile software development processes)
• Scrum Master certification, PMP is a plus
• Software development tools, languages and standards and Software quality tools, process and standards specifications and design techniques
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience working on system level software is a must. Continuous Integration(CI)/Continuous Deployment(CD) pipeline projects experience is a plus
• Ability to understand the technical details of the software your teams are working on. You should be able to assess risk, challenge estimates, identify dependencies and ultimately guide the team throughout the software development
• Experience as a technical contributor (software developer, quality engineering, etc.) for DevOps projects is a plus
