Program Manager is responsible for making strategic and tactical recommendations to Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. Also, the individual will be closely working with engineering teams to communicate and plan change management activities involving scope, schedule etc.

• Understand PMI – Service Management/Cloud Infrastructure as a services best practice into the organization
• Creates and delivers presentations, develops communications and communicates to cross-functional audiences both internally and externally
• Helps to identify priorities and resource requirements for each project or program. Partnering closely with counterparts in various operations across development, QA, product management teams, architects and cross-functions to ensure the success of the products and customers
• Develops tools to drive project/program management success
• Communicate strategy, plans, issues and risks effectively throughout the organization. Drives on-going retrospection to foster continuous improvement
• Prepare assigned project resources with necessary project-related information, ensuring proper understanding of project requirements, roles & responsibilities, work processes and success criteria
• Lead status and planning meetings as well as participate in discovery meetings
• Manage the project plan, issues list and other supporting documents throughout the project to maintain client expectations and project milestone success
• Communicate and publish project status to the project team - Manage project scope to meet project success criteria while maximizing value brought to customers and revenue generated for Kronos
• Manage the finances of the project, invoicing of delivered services and resolution of any financial disputes. Lead assigned projects to a successful completion within appropriate time frame

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience. PMP, PGMP, or PMI certification a plus.
• 12+ years of overall experience in software development with 3-5 years of program/project management
• Exposure to programming and ability to understand basic software architecture concepts, broad knowledge of Infrastructure, Tools, Automation
• Knowledge of agile/scrum and the ability to work within an agile environment is a plus
• Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams and off-shoring partners
• Experience managing an implementation team required and managing large software projects required
• Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports
