• Understand PMI – Service Management / Cloud Infrastructure as a services best practices into the organization
• Creates and delivers presentations, develops communications and communicates to cross-functional audiences both internally and externally
• Helps to identify priorities and resource requirements for each project or program
• Makes strategic and tactical recommendations to Cloud management to ensure successful delivery of projects into Cloud ecosystem
• Communicates and plans change management activities involving scope, schedule, etc.
• Develops tools to drive project/program management success
• Partner closely with counterparts in Cloud Operations, development, QA, product management, and architecture and to ensure the success of their products
• Communicate strategy, plans, issues and risks effectively throughout the organization
• Drives on-going retrospection to foster continuous improvement
• Prepare assigned project resources with necessary project-related information, ensuring proper understanding of project requirements, roles & responsibilities, work processes, and success criteria
• Implement the necessary project management infrastructure (project plans, issues lists, communication plans)
• Define the project schedule with the teams
• Lead status and planning meetings
• Participate in discovery meetings
• Manage the project plan, issues list, and other supporting documents throughout the project to maintain client expectations and project milestone success
• Work with various team members (stakeholders) to resolve project and process issues in a timely manner and document any issues
• Communicate and publish project status to the project team - Manage project scope to meet project success criteria while maximizing value brought to customers and revenue generated for Kronos
• Manage the financials of the project, invoicing of delivered services, and resolution of any financial disputes
• Lead assigned projects to a successful completion within appropriate time frame
• Assist with developing new processes and tools that improve the performance and effectiveness of the project management delivery
• Assist with other initiatives to evaluate and drive customer satisfaction


• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience. PMP, PgMP, or PMI certification a plus
• Exposure to programming and ability to understand basic software architecture concepts
• 12+ years of overall experience in software development
• 3-5 years of project/program management work experience
• Strong understanding of project and program management best practices
• Superb written and oral communication skills required (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word)
• Knowledge of agile/scrum and the ability to work within an agile environment is must
• Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams and off-shoring partners
• Ability to influence across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational
• Experience managing large software projects required
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team
• Ability to perform multiple tasks ranging from project management to coaching other team members
