Kronos is looking for an experienced development manager to provide the necessary local/remote leadership for a highly productive offshore development team. The role requires an individual with strong experience in a leadership role for a complex multi-faceted program, particularly with remote development teams. You will be working on a new workforce management solution that will be used by high profile companies across retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and many other industries.

The individual in this role will have the following responsibilities:

• Management of offshore development teams
• Work with their scrum master to ensure work is properly defined
• Work with technical lead to ensure proper program design
• Work with program manager to manage technical dependencies and risks
• Work with QA lead to ensure an “always shippable” product
• Provide guidance on feature, architectural and QA priorities
• Act as the escalation point for key issues

Qualifications

The following core skills are required for success in this position:
• 3 – 5 years of management experience in delivering high quality software components
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role preferred
• Experience working with geographically diverse teams
• Experience in full stack implementations (Java / NodeJS / JavaScript)
• Experience working across the SDLC
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience:
• Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science
• Self-Managed and ability to make autonomous decisions
• Strong Program/project management capabilities to help prioritize and drive initiatives
