Kronos has an immediate opportunity for a communications professional to join our IT department. In the role of Communications/IT Enablement Manager, you will develop and execute strategies and tactics to foster effective communications about various IT projects to our 5,000+ employees worldwide and among our IT staff. As a Communications/IT Enablement Manager, you will drive awareness, readiness, and adoption in support of key IT projects. Working closely with our IT leadership and Corporate Communications teams, your proactive, tech-savvy approach to communications and change management will maximize buy-in and engagement, minimize resistance, and drive achievement of IT organizational and business objectives.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

Communications:
• Formulate and execute communications plans and timelines in support of IT initiatives.
• Write and edit employee communications regarding IT initiatives.
• Work cross functionally and with writers, graphic designers, and external vendors to develop high-quality, high-impact materials that inform, educate, and engage employees about deployment of new technologies.
• Develop communications for the CIO, project management office, and other IT leaders related to major IT initiatives.
• Collaborate with our Corporate Communications team to leverage relevant and current employee communications channels including blogs, social collaboration, newsletters, and intranet platforms.

Enterprise System Enablement:
• Drive the effective utilization and adoption of new IT systems among employees worldwide.
• Understand system use cases for internal customers and support the communication, development, and learning for optimal deployment of new technologies.
• Drive enablement of new systems cross functionally – including communication, change management, education, tools, etc.

Drive learning and development for IT employees:
• Based on our IT roadmap, plan for necessary domain/technical skill development and create educational plans to enable employees to successful support the future direction of IT.
• Partner with our Talent Management team and cross-functional learning leaders to promote individual career development beyond technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism/communications field required plus 8-10 years of related work experience; experience in a tech environment a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Highly personable and able to collaborate well across teams, considering cultural differences.
• Tech savvy and experienced using latest technologies, social collaboration, and blog platforms.
• Well versed in learning best practices/change management.
