The Cloud Disaster Recovery Specialist will lead, communicate, and provide oversight of Kronos Cloud based recovery in the event of a disaster. He/she will assist the Cloud Team in the design, testing and implementation of Disaster Recovery solutions and processes for Kronos Cloud.

He/she will be responsible for integrating additional enhancements into the existing processes / tooling with quality results and further user adoption accordingly. He/she will also be providing data and/or collateral that support DR related metrics and initiatives on an on-going basis. The DR Specialist will be assigned to oversee testing and to manage internal DR planning and configuration support for all cloud customers. He/She will also partner with the other service and/or service functions to remediate any issues or answer customer questions.

•Review and develop Disaster Recovery strategies.
•Draft procedures for identifying failures and invoking contingency plans, create response procedures and identify communications channels.
•Oversee Disaster Recovery process for Kronos cloud customers:
•Schedules, coordinates and executes annual DR tests to meet both customer and regulatory compliance (SOC & HIPAA) requirements, internally and externally as applicable.
•Tracks test data to include functions tested, pass fail, test analysis, Issues/Action Item follow-up and create post-test reporting summaries. Communicates with various response teams during testing, create response procedures and support the design, development, installation, implementation and administration of backup solutions.
•Make recommendations to the operations group on DR system enhancements, design and administer programs to include policies, standards, guidelines and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery.

•Develops and maintains customer specific DR requirements.


•5+ years of professional experience with 3 years in a role related to Disaster Recovery
•Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
•Strong project management and communications skills
•Proven ability to understand complex business issues and align communications strategies and outcomes accordingly.
•An ability to assess the severity and priority of multiple incoming inquiries from management, customers and internal employees.
•Sound problem identification, judgment, resolution and decision-making skills.
•Demonstrated capacity to lead under pressure, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and drive cross group consensus in short periods.
•Ability to work well interpersonally cross functionally and cross-discipline at various levels as well as influence and manage without direct authority.
•Prior experience with tools that support ITIL / ITSM processes.
•Prior experience developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans and DR tests.
•Strong meeting facilitation skills

•Prior experience with Zerto is a plus.
•Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Certification (DRII/BCI)
•Experience working with off-shore delivery company and distributed teams
