We are looking for an Engineering Director to run a team in Kronos’ Workforce Dimensions new product development division. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys complex technical challenges and leading engineers to fulfill the solutions.

• Lead a high performing team of engineers to innovate and design complex solutions that meet the business needs
• Design and develop solutions that ensure resiliency, scalability, and redundancy for our infrastructure.
• Interest and ability to suggest thought provoking ideas
• Passion for technology and personal interest in keeping abreast of latest technology developments and engineering management practices
• Ability to create technical proposals quickly and efficiently
• Excel at using communication and influence to get things done both within their team and across the organization and geographies
• Provide leadership and mentoring for team members
• Assist with, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues when needed


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent related experience
• 15+ years of Experience in Software Development and 5+ years leading/managing teams
• Experience managing a team and/or developing software for a SaaS enterprise product in AWS, Google, or Azure
• Deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming
• Experience with Google cloud deployments, RightScale, Redis, RabbitMQ, OpenAM, Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Exceptional understanding of web application design and familiarity with technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/Enterprise PPAS
• Experience working with development teams in an Agile/Scaled-Agile environment
• A management style that is compatible and complimentary with the existing company culture. Key attributes include transparency, integrity, collaborative decision making, and an informal but direct communication style
