Kronos is looking for an inspiring Visual Design Director to drive the vision of the Kronos next generation of products. She/he has a passion for design and a keen eye for details; possesses extraordinary visual design skills and a proven experience of applying user-centered design principles. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics,should be able to grasp and distill user problems and translate them into delightful, visually pleasing and engaging solutions. As part of this role, you are expected to manage a team of visual designers across different geographies, provide coaching and actively bring out the best in them by motivating them and empowering them to innovate. Strong communication skills are key as she/he will need to be able to develop and present strategies, concepts and designs to large groups, cross-functional teams and executives. The Visual Design Manager is expected to partner with UX leadership to define and improve the team’s processes and to nurture a fun and engaging work environment and team culture.

• Define, refine and evolve the art direction of a large suite of enterprise products
• Define relevant, original and unique visual strategies for the Kronos products
• Understand designs that are in-trend, cohesive, on-brand and that incorporate best practices
• Define and evangelize a visual design system
• Manage a team of visual designers across different locations
• Initiate collaboration with peers and stakeholders to ensure delivering high-quality products through the entire design and development process
• Build a high performing team of visual designers
• Define, recognize and develop the talent within the visual design team. Actively bring out the best in designers, developing both designers and team dynamics
• Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports to help grow functional skills and leadership capability, with support from senior leadership
• Assist in defining and improving design processes to support business initiatives
• Manages commitments and deadlines across multiple projects and groups.


• Bachelors degree or Masters in Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar
• 8+ work experience with a focus on product and visual design across a variety of platforms including web, mobile, tablets, phablets and kiosks
• A passion for design and a great eye for detail
• Proven ability of leading a team, motivating others to excel and creating an inspiring creative work environment and culture.
• Strong visual, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable experience defining a visual language and a visual design system for enterprise products
• Proficiency in mastering design principles (Typography, Composition, Scale, Color theory amongst other) and applying them to product design
• Highly skilled in standard design tools (Adobe suite, Sketch amongst other)
