Looking for somebody with a passion for technology, learning and experimentation for a leadership role in our Research & Technology Services organization, focused on exploring and experimenting with new and emerging technologies for the purpose of learning and sharing actionable information with our technology community. You will help to grow and promote our research practice and continue to foster our innovation culture.
Responsibilities
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to understand their strategy. direction and challenges to inform research.
• Explore emerging technologies and trends to identify near and long term opportunities.
• Work with our partners to explore, curate and prioritize the pipeline of ideas.
• Lead a team of researchers and technologists focused on research studies and initiatives.
• Work with external partners to scale when needed.
• Publish and socialize findings across the organization.
• Champion and participate in grass-roots innovation initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 9+ years of experience, Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience in Software Development, Architecture or Operations.
• Experience building and scaling research and innovation programs
• Experience developing and deploying organizational strategies and goals.
• Strong ownership and willingness to roll-up your sleeves to get the job done.
• You’ve built and worked across high-functioning teams; and served as coach and mentor to the team while scaling in new areas
• Demonstrated track record of building and growing high-performance teams that can deliver results.
• Ability to influence without authority to partner with cross-functional teams.
