We are looking for an Engineering Director to lead a Chaos Engineering team in Kronos’ Workforce Dimensions new product development division. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys complex technical challenges and leading engineers to fulfill the solutions.

• Lead a high performing team of engineers to innovate and lead UGK in embracing Chaos Engineering practices
• Design and develop solutions that ensure resiliency, scalability, and redundancy for our infrastructure.
• Interest and ability to suggest thought provoking ideas.
• Passion for technology and personal interest in keeping abreast of latest technology developments and engineering management practices
• Ability to lead onsite and remote teams
• Excel at using communication and influence to get things done both within their team and across the organization and geographies
• Provide leadership and mentoring for team members
• Assist with, troubleshoot, and resolve customer or production issues when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent related experience
• 10+ years of Experience in Software Development and 5+ years leading/managing teams
• Experience managing a team and/or developing or testing software for a SaaS enterprise product in AWS, Google, or Azure
• Deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, service resiliency, and programming
• Experience with Google cloud deployments, RightScale, Redis, RabbitMQ, OpenAM, Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Knowledge of Chaos Engineering tools and strategies
• Experience working with development teams in an Agile/Scaled-Agile environment
• A management style that is compatible and complimentary with the existing company culture. Key attributes include transparency, integrity, collaborative decision making, and an informal but direct communication style
