The Director of IT Shared Services will lead the Integration, Application Development and Database Administration functions shared across the global IT organization. Leveraging strong technical acumen and proven hands-on experience, the Director will establish development standards and best practices to drive efficiencies within the teams and across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical, management and interpersonal skills in order to integrate the work across the application and delivery organization.


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience as well as more than 8+ years of hands on application, ETL and/or database development experience. In a addition to the following;
• Minimum of 4+ years of management experience
Strong knowledge of development standards, ETL architecture and design processes
• Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of database security, enterprise backup and restore, and replication strategies
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple technical tracks and ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Demonstrated ability to tie complex technical solutions into business-friendly functional solutions
• Demonstrated ability to think/act strategically and influence key leaders and partners and work in a highly matrixed, global organization
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative and diverse environment working on multiple large scale, global application implementations
• Thorough understanding of one or more IT methodologies: Waterfall, SDLC, Agile , ITIL
.• Multi-technology experience is strongly preferred. Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Informatica, SQL Server and/or My SQL is a plus.
