This position will ensure the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial information to ensure compliance with US GAAP. The position will be responsible for technical accounting research related to new and proposed accounting standards as well as the development and implementation of related accounting policies. The role will be a lead in the preparation of consolidated financial reporting for external stakeholders such as lenders, state licensing agencies, customers and the UKG investors. The role will assist in leading the implementation, maintenance, and review of internal controls over financial reporting. This role will work in a lean, high-growth and results-oriented environment that is highly visible and will have direct contact with executives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee GAAP compliance with worldwide corporate accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assess the impact of new FASB, AICPA, and EITF rules and regulations on the company’s financial position and financial statements.
• Oversee the preparation of required consolidated bank reporting and debt compliance package and other state licensing agency reporting require
• Oversee preparation of the quarterly and year-end financial reports to the Board, Private Equity Owners, Lenders and others.
• Implement initiatives as needed to enhance control compliance with US GAAP and convergence standards under IFRS.
• Take lead on technical accounting matters including purchase accounting, goodwill impairment assessments, equity-related issues, debt refinance etc.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary
• Lead the audit of the financial statements with the external auditors and supports concluding the audit in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage a team of approximately 3-5 members

Skills Required:
• Clear and demonstrated understanding of US-GAAP with ability to apply technical knowledge in a practical manner to day to day operations.
• Ability to view accounting transactions in terms of how they will affect the consolidated financial statements.
• Oracle and/or D365 other large ERP/Accounting package preferred.
• Experience with Consolidations and Mergers & Acquisitions (diligence and integration)
• Exposure to IFRS is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail skills and proven organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, reliable, accurate & able to work independently.


• Bachelor Degree in Accounting in addition to a CPA
• 10 - 12 years experience in financial accounting in a corporate environment, consolidations, financial reporting, public accounting or a combination thereof.
• A mix of (a) public company, high-tech Industry experience in a multi-national organization, and (b) experience in public accounting desired.
• Strong working knowledge of technical accounting literature.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of good internal controls.
• Proven track record of developing top talent and exhibiting strong management skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask to meet the requirements of internal and external “customers”
• Ability to interact successfully with all levels within the organization
