The Director, Business Intelligence & Reporting is responsible for the strategic planning, vision and execution of data and analytics technology platforms at Kronos. Partnering with leaders across the business and IT, the Director will define an enterprise data strategy and architecture that serves all the company’s reporting needs. Translating the strategy into an implementation road map, the Director will then lead the team responsible for delivering the required results. Additionally, the director will be responsible for working with stakeholders to understand KPIs and enable performance management reporting, establish a self-service delivery capability and support ad hoc reporting.

• Define an enterprise data platform strategy and corresponding roadmap.
• Establish a reporting architecture and corresponding roadmap.
• Establish consensus and buy in for the roadmap from IT and Business stakeholders.
• Budgeting, planning and managing projects and program.
• Drive the execution of the data platform and reporting architecture roadmap utilizing a mix of internal IT resources, business stakeholders and consulting support.
• Review existing analytic processes to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance and other key stakeholder groups on general, specific, short, and long term reporting needs.
• Leadership of the reporting team to establish the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight.
• Lead the development of data controls for various data feeds and work with the Integration team to ensure the integrity of data.
• People management, mentorship and oversight
• Develop and operate the governance processes required to ensure data integrity, information optimization, and performance of the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders across the business to develop measurement strategies, track, report and analyze the success of Kronos’s programs and progress toward business goals.
• Lead the continued development of Kronos’s data platform, with responsibility for the company’s growing data warehouse environment, business intelligence tools, and system integrations
• Produce standard reporting and business intelligence solutions for use by key stakeholders at all levels of the organization


• Demonstrated experience leading Enterprise BI and/or Data Warehouse initiatives
• Hands on development background in multiple large scale projects involving Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with BI methodology and technologies (strong technical backend experience with Oracle, Informatica, Cognos, Tableau, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to think/act strategically and influence key leaders and partners
• A proven track record of working with Senior and C-level executives to determine analytics data requirements and implementing systems to warehouse and retrieve key business information
• Ability to translate high level strategy to low level; development activities
• Working knowledge of leading edge business intelligence best practices and concepts, e.g. predictive modeling, advanced analytics, etc
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding leadership skills
• Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Experience with major database platforms like Oracle, MSSQL and experience with multiple versions of Oracle E-Business suite
