At Kronos, we see DevSecOps as a methodology that unites development, security practices, and operations to automate everything. Our team advocates for, facilitates, and builds a DevSecOps culture and infrastructure.

This DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for deployment automation, simplifying self-service, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and code quality best practices are followed.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Improve the accessibility of security through automation, continuous integration pipelines, and other means
• Help refine, implement, and verify compliance of industry standard security practices for cloud solutions
• Build and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teams 

• Build and support monitoring reports for the CI/CD pipeline 

• Work with the Operations team to build production deployment processes & systems

• Participates in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards

• Working with Google Cloud and vShere

• Knowledge of overall CI/CD pipeline processes and working closely with these teams

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including networking, deployment, and configuration, to support development and QA teams


• Bachelor degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5-8 years software development experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of cloud hosting security principles and hands on experience developing or consulting with secure cloud implementations
• Experience with security and quality scanning tools (SonarQube, BlackDuck, Checkmarx)
• Good Knowledge with either public cloud providers (AWS, Google cloud)
• Good Knowledge with CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux
• Familiarity of CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Teraform, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud management and monitoring tools (RightScale, Splunk)
• Development Tools – GIT(BitBucket), Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Gradle
• Ability to write in multiple languages including Groovy, Python, Java, Bash scripting
• Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology, Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills, Excellent communication skill
