The Marketing Programs Manager will report to the Manager, Marketing Programs and will be responsible for all aspects of lead generation and demand creation, including webinars, direct mail, lead nurturing, appointment setting programs, third-party sponsorships and incentive-based programs. The right candidate must effectively manage across multiple departments to drive measurable results within the demand generation team. The demand generation team is responsible for generating a consistent flow of new sales opportunities for both the outside and inside sales teams sufficient to achieve stated quotas and business goals. The Marketing Programs Manager must use all available tools and techniques to improve program effectiveness and must work closely with the industry marketing, product marketing, services marketing, creative, web and marketing operations teams to achieve a fully integrated marketing plan that targets prospects and customers in all phases of their buying cycle.


Responsibilities:
• Help to develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation/demand creation plan & budget.
• Leverage tools to accurately measure and report on effectiveness of lead generation campaigns.
• Help to manage and accurately forecast the lead generation budget.
• Utilize repeatable processes for lead generation and follow-up; provide effective and timely communications with lead development reps and sales teams as appropriate.
• Build a positive, cooperative relationship with the Product Marketing, Services Marketing, Creative, Operations and Web organizations.
• Leverage partners and manage vendor relationships to help maximize marketing budget, reach and ROI.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years B2B software lead generation experience
• BA/BS; MBA degree is a plus
• Proven experience with lead/demand generation
• Excellent written communication skills an absolute must
• Proven track record of establishing and achieving measurable goals in a highly automated marketing environment
• Must have strong metrics experience
• Strong understanding of positioning principles and methodology
• Experience using systems such as Salesforce and Eloqua a plus
• Operates with integrity without compromise
• Outstanding attention to detail; must be highly organized
• Strong leadership, influence and interpersonal skills required
• Customer marketing experience is a plus
