Description

Essential Functions:
•Database Administration for MSSQL Server
•Configuration and Troubleshooting MSSQL Replication, Log Shipping
•Monitoring of SQL Servers
•Planning and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
•Design and develop and configure reporting solutions for dashboards, scorecards, scheduled reports, ad hoc queries
•Performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
•Reviewing sql scripts and migration.
•Automation using scripts

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Knowledge of advance TSQL statements and Procedures Functions in SQL Server
•Knowledge of SSRS (SQL server reporting services)
•Knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics.
•Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests.
•Fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs.
•Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
•Experience High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for MSSQL Server.
•Experience in maintaining database on cloud based application.
•Good communication and documentation skills

Knowledge of the following technology areas:

•Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
•Experience using ETL data management tools such as SSIS, Informatica is a plus
•Should be able to anticipate issues and resolve data problems
•Should have very good analytical skills & debugging skills
•Experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server
•Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
