Description

Essential Functions:
•Design and develop and configure Reporting solutions for dashboards, scorecards, scheduled reports, adhoc queries
•Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
•Reviewing Sql scripts and migration.
•Automation using scripts
•Database Administration for Oracle Server

Secondary Functions:
•Configuration and Troubleshooting Replication
•Monitoring of Oracle Servers
•Planning and Implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

Qualifications

Graduate in Computer Science. MCA/ Regular PG course in Computers added advantage. Min. 8 years related work experience. 5+ years in Oracle administration.

•Hands-on experience with creation of database objects such as tables and views, database security and interfaces (ODBC/JDBC)
•Hands-on experience in developing stored procedures, functions, packages, views, cursors, collections (nested tables and arrays), records, object types and database triggers
•Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries & views
•Experience in Oracle database administration tasks.
•Knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics.
•Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests.
•Should be able to anticipate issues and resolve data problems
•Prior experience with Human Resource business domain is a plus.
•Excellent communication and people skills for collaborating with developers and other team members
