Oracle APPS DBA with minimum 5 years of work experience in Oracle e-business suite, Oracle Databases. A self-motivated individual with a lot of energy, aptitude, ability to work independently, drive, troubleshoot, resolve technical issues. Strong willingness to learn newer technologies, experience to work on complex integration platform environment. A good team player and having strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, maintain, administer, troubleshoot all technical issues of applications and databases for Non-prod and Prod environments independently.
• Perform upgrades, patching, bug fixes, refreshes of applications/databases as per requirements.
• Handle Code Migrations/Deployments of all IT applications.
• Analyze and resolve issues for all aspects of applications and databases performance tuning.
• Take initiatives to identify technical gaps and fix them proactively to streamline operations.
• Process adherence of existing process, SOPs and take initiatives for continuous process improvement. Good understanding of ITIL processes .
• Strong documentation skills new issues, projects, enhancements and processes.
• Assist in internal and external security audits and ensure environments are highly secure and license complaint.
• Work in a Global in 24X7 production environment, flexibility to work in shifts and provide weekend support at required.

Qualifications

Graduate in Computer Science. MCA/ Regular PG course in Computers. Min 5+ years in Oracle Apps/Oracle DBA.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Installation/Cloning/Upgrade/patching/ maintenance and administration of Oracle e-business suite 11i/R12 and Oracle databases 11g/12c.
•Experience Oracle e-business suite system administration.
•High availability, Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation through Oracle Data guard or other DR solutions.
•Oracle 11g/12c RAC Databases.
•Writing UNIX Shell/Perl scripts for automation and maintenance.
•Backup and Recovery, RMAN, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios.
•Applications and database performance tuning, SQL tuning, SQL advisor, OEM etc.
