Kronos is seeking a Data Steward for our Account Data Governance research team. This position will report to the Associate Manager of Business Systems with activities related to data governance. The Data Steward will be responsible for performing high quality research to validate sales account changes and keep sales data current. The candidate will need to be highly proficient at internet research and be able to validate a company’s firmographic information.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Works cross functionally with all areas of the organization including customer registration and sales operations to define processes for data refresh
• Conduct internet research and make decisions based on the established rules and processes
• Participate in large scale data clean-up projects
• Research M&A activity to determine appropriate corporate hierarchy
• Special research projects related to the use and maintenance of data assets
• Act as back up for other data stewards processing account adds as needed
• Creating and updating process documentation as required

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in data governance or Sales Ops role
• Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel
• Experience with Salesforce, Dun and Bradstreet data highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree required
