•Install, test, document, and troubleshoot Workforce Central software installations
•Perform technical review of Workforce Central installations prior to customer go-lives. Will ensure that the servers are configured in accordance with best practices
•Perform post go-live analysis of empirical data to ensure customer’s usage of the application and environmental footprint has remained aligned over time.
•Utilize existing tools available within Cloud Infrastructure to monitor performance KPI’s, interpret results, and recommend changes based on data analysis.
•Consults on designing system architecture and provides hardware recommendations
•Drives efficiency and scalability through process, reporting, and automation where possible
•Delivers technical application of service packs and upgrades when needed
•Communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical individuals at various levels of customer organizations, as well as internally.

The successful applicant will demonstrate how they can apply the skills they’ve acquired as a seasoned, experienced professional to complete the tasks above. In this role they will be expected to ensure our Workforce Central environments are prepared and optimally configured to meet the needs of the customer. The Technical Consultants will be expected to ensure servers are configured consistently and in accordance with the most current best practice recommendations. The Technology Consultant will be a resident expert on the subject of sizing, technical configuration of the Workforce Central application, and able to participate in conversations surrounding related environmental technologies (Jboss, Citrix, LDAP, etc.). The expectation is that this person will be highly motivated to improve the deployment process and will be able to implement scalable enhancements for all Cloud customers in this regard.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years related work experience (ideally in a consulting, support, or project-centric role) and some direct working experience with hosted/cloud based software solutions. They will have strong technical knowledge in the following areas:

1.Perform technical audits of customers prior to go-live
2.Perform sizing reviews of existing environments using tools developed specifically for Kronos Workforce Central, as well as PerfMon, vROPS, etc.
3.Perform Installations of Workforce Central and its supporting products (HR/PR, Scheduler, Attestation, etc.).
4.Act as an escalation resource for Kronos Global Support on issues involving performance, LDAP, SSO, network connectivity, database performance, etc.
