Description

Kronos is looking for a Continuous Integration Engineer with a passion for build and deployment practices. The right Engineer will have experience with Gradle(or Maven) development as well as a wide range of other scripting languages.
• This Engineer needs to be able to think strategically and operate tactically to be able to deliver on the technical vision of the company.
• The Continuous Integration teams goals are to:
• Define and Build development workflows and create the tools to support them
• Fully-automate and continuously deploy in-house and open-source applications
• Improve our workflows to shorten build and deployment times allowing our product development teams to be more productive
• Support our product development teams in their build and integration needs
• Designed and maintained an automated nightly build process for multiple Perforce source code branches concurrently with email notification and logging capabilities.
• A detailed oriented, team player with widespread knowledge of automated testing, source control software such as GitHub, BitBucket, and ClearCase, and software such as Jenkins, InstallShield, InstallAnywhere.

Qualifications

Must have skills/experience:
• 4-7 years software engineering experience, ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Experience with troubleshooting in a complex Enterprise IT Infrastructure and network environment.
• Knowledge and experience using the following:
• Gradle (or Maven) development experience OR Groovy / Python / Ruby / Kotlin / Java.
• Git / Jenkins/Bamboo (prefer experience with Jenkins DSLs)
• Artifactory (minimal is okay, especially with maven knowledge)
• Linux Shell Scripting, Operating systems (Linux), Postgres/SQL Databases
