Description

The Commercial Contracts Specialist (CCS) will provide negotiation support on behalf of Legal to Sales, Services, Cloud, and Sales Operations teams for customer agreements in assigned territories/verticals. The CCS will also liaison with Finance, Security, Support Contracts, and other internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues during and after negotiations. The CCS is responsible for negotiating, reviewing, structuring, and administrating agreements that establish business relationships with customers and partners. The CCS is also responsible for analyzing sales transactions to ensure compliance to company policy (including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP)), applicable laws/regulations and other established guidelines and requirements as well as resolving customer and Field Sales inquiries to achieve high-level customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Experience negotiating terms and conditions, preparing contracts for review and ensuring compliance with company policy as well as applicable laws/regulations is required. Experience with public sector procurement processes, government contracting, and alternative contracting vehicles preferred.

Qualifications

- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
- Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
- Attention to detail and ability to draft complex concepts in a clear and concise manner necessary.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Interacts with senior internal and external (customer) personnel.
- Ability to utilize time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, independent yet collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other business applications a plus.
