Kronos is looking for an experienced Security Architect who can lead, drive and ensure end to end cloud & infrastructure security in support for SaaS & cloud services. The security architect would deliver security reference designs, security solution, and security roadmaps in collaboration with Kronos Cloud team, product engineering teams and corporate security team. The candidate for this role will work closely with cloud & infrastructure architects, engineering teams, cloud delivery team and other security and non-security stakeholders to drive implementable designs for security solutions.
• The security architect is expected to deliver guidelines, best practices, and checklist directed at both engineering & cloud delivery teams
• This individual will assist Kronos Cloud team on strategic security leadership across multiple programs that seek to improve or innovate cyber security capability across all aspects of the Kronos Cloud offerings
• In this role the ideal candidate will help test, validate and scope the adoption of security technologies
• Identify and implement relevant security & privacy training
• Experience in driving designs & processes for compliance & standards frameworks: SOC1, SOC2; ISO27001, 27018, 27017; FedRAMP; GDPR; NIST SP-800
• Drive secure software development practices & SecDevOps processes
• Drive cost effective & secure designs which resolve & mitigate underlying business and operational risks
• Help in proof of concept implementations of security solutions
• Perform research, recommend solutions, and create proposals based on latest industry trends, and industry standards to meet business requirements
• Support discussions with prospects and existing clients looking to better understand how Kronos ensures the security of their data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a Security Architect for public and/or private cloud offerings
• Review plans for product & cloud architecture, cloud delivery and operational improvements
• Help identify security design flaws and proactively make recommendations for improving product designs security practices - balancing the business impact with the potential risk
• Extensive experience in Security DevOps and Secure SDLC processes and tools, including threat analysis, code reviews as well as experience in Security Monitoring and Intrusion, Incident Response and Forensics
• Experience in the following domains:
• Cloud Security (KMS, encryption, VPC Access controls, network security, firewalls, IDS/DDOS), Identity & Access Management
• Static Source Code Analysis, Dynamic Security Scanning Tools
• System Hardening in public & private cloud, container Security & GKE Security
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (or relevant AWS/GCP Security Architecture Certifications), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
