Cloud Platform & DevOps Engineer

Our team advocates for facilitates and builds a DevOps culture & infrastructure.• DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deployment automation, simplifying self-service and creating transparency around resource utilization
• DevOps Engineer (automation) will be responsible for analyzing all deployment/infrastructure related to issues in different stack, stabilizing the infra stacks across engineering and for automating the deployments and upgrade related stuff
Additional responsibilities include:
• Build and support automation for deployment of various components of the product ecosystem
• Build and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teams
• Deployments and working with Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
• Automating processes using Google API’s with the help of scripting languages (Preferably python)
• Familiarity with Java build tools - Gradle, Ant, Maven
• Exposure in Agile/Scrum methodology with excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Selenium, API testing and understanding RightScale & its configurations related to Google cloud is a plus
Qualifications
• Software development lifecycle experience in a fast-paced environment• Ability to write in multiple languages including Python, Java, Golang, Ruby or Bash scripting
• Knowledge on Jenkins and ability to write Jenkins Pipeline as code
• Knowledge of any configuration management tool (Chef/Puppet/Salt/Ansible or RightScale)
• Familiarity with any of the Public Cloud providers (AWS or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with different set of Operating System like Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, etc
• Hands on development Tools - Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, Grunt
• Good to have knowledge on monitoring tools like Nagios, ELK, Dynatrace or AppDynamics
