The Cloud Engineering Program Manager is responsible for driving the execution of Cloud Programs from project definition to final release; and ongoing support and optimization. The candidate will be responsible for leading programs related to unique cases for very large customers as well as programs related to the development, deployment, management and on-going optimizations of public cloud-based services. The role will actively manage global programs for the development of SaaS infrastructure programs and works closely with key stakeholders including Cloud Leadership, Cloud Directors and Architects.
Be a part of an innovative SaaS (Software as a Service) organization providing HCM/Labor Management software solutions to a global set of customers that is rapidly growing. Candidate will work closely with varying teams in a highly collaborative environment. In this role you will be interacting with customers (external and internal) to understand their use cases and long-term infrastructure needs. This is a very unique role with a high visibility for the technically curious candidate that will aide in wowing our customers.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and deliver on global program initiatives for large and special case customers. Interact with customers to understand business drivers and translate their priorities into technical objectives for their organizations and UKG.
• Organize activities and track project objectives to completion.
• Develop high-level technical program goals and objectives to properly measure risk and gaps
• Partner closely with counterparts in Engineering, QA, Product management, Architecture, Sales, Professional Services and Customer Success Management
• Meet with stakeholders to ensure all requirements from a business perspective are aligned with program goals
• Develop and communicate strategy, plans, issues and risks effectively throughout the organization at varying levels
• Make strategic and tactical recommendations regarding program delivery to executive leadership
• Drive Global PMO best practices and improvements along with retrospectives to foster continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience. PMP, PgMP, PMI or Agile/Scrum Master certification a plus
• Minimum of 5-8 years of program management experience in Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS and software development or equivalent technologies
• Broad knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, Tools and Automation
• Ability to understand basic software architecture concepts
• Hands on experience with Cloud/SaaS implementations on public cloud platforms like Google, AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of project and program management best practices
• Good Customer interfacing skills
• Ability to influence across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results
• Proven record of delivering projects and programs from initiation through implementation
