Kronos Cloud Infrastructure Group is seeking a seasoned Data Center. The position requires practical knowledge in multiple technical disciplines commonly supporting global infrastructure. A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding of data center operations and physical device management. Applies a full understanding of data center operations to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. Has a broad knowledge of a variety of alternatives and their impact on the business unit. Plans and organizes non-routine tasks w/approval. Initiates or maintains work schedule and priorities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for physical layer support of complex operations, data processing hardware installation projects, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of compute, storage, and network components to support complex data center infrastructure
• Works with manufacturers support to troubleshoot, coordinate and restore equipment to full service
• Collaborates with Leadership, Project Managers, Customers and Strategic Partners
• Interacts with all levels of site personnel, vendors, contractors and operations management
• External contact is often required with Kronos customers, suppliers of technical equipment, equipment maintenance and contractor services. Contacts range from customer technical staff, sales personnel to field technicians to engineers
• Interact and communicate with leadership, peer groups and customers; comprehensive understanding of data center terminology with the ability to communicate to diverse audience
• Create, manage and maintain documentation regarding raised floor hardware and cabling infrastructure, inventory, and processes
• Leverage expertise and experience to analyze various data center component and system configurations to optimize performance
• Participate in hands on problem resolution as required to support 24/7 operations
• Frequent off hours and weekend overnight work to adhere to Kronos change policies
• Domestic travel up to 15%


• AAS, Vocational, Trade School education or equivalent in associated infrastructure discipline
• Equipment Manufacturers Factory or Site-Specific Training Certification
• Experience in working in 24/7 customer facing high availability SaaS infrastructure
• Knowledge of multi-vendor, multi-discipline equipment with proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge and comprehension of industry terminology, trends, and best practices related to the physical layers of facility infrastructure and or data processing architecture
• SME knowledge of EIA/TIA cabling standards and best practices and ability to accurately perform cable testing / certification
• Experience with manufacturer infrastructure management solutions a plus, remote access/KVM knowledge
• Experienced and knowledgeable with ITIL processes, HIPAA and SOC2
