The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Professional Services Sales, Delivery and Operational teams managing and designing solutions to business needs and driving continuous optimization of our Services quoting applications and tools (Big Machines, Salesforce and CPQ). You will engage with business stakeholders, understand their systems and user needs, drill into the details to analyze complex processes and translate them into business and functional requirements. This role will be responsible for documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, testing plans, implementation oversight, continuous improvement and ongoing support.

This is a role that requires an ability to balance and triage activities that move the business forward alongside maintaining and supporting the systems used to transact business day to day. You will contribute to the broader Professional Services (PS) systems roadmap coordinating the requirements for Services quoting with an understanding of upstream/downstream impacts. Success in this role is defined by gaining the business’ confidence that you are their trusted advocate; that you understand their strategy and goals effectively to drive the corresponding systems transformations and changes needed to meet their goals.

• Act as the business product owner for PS sales systems & tools. Be a subject matter expert on how our process & systems operate, driving best practices and focus on the user experience
• Subject matter expert on the end to end operating model from Opportunity to Quote to Contracts
• Support the roadmap of projects and system initiatives that align with the Professional Services strategy and business needs
• Assist with process design, improvement/re-engineering activities; develop designs and to-be process flows to create best in class solutions to meet business needs
• Gather and document formal business requirements
• Act as project manager and develop readiness plans for system enhancements and implementations in partnership with IT
• Act as the lead analyst for all new product additions, pricing changes, and promotions/programs
• Organize and execute user acceptance testing and develop training materials for systems or processes
• Support the creation/management of standard PS Sales metrics, reporting and analytics
• Monitor system effectiveness, usage and management of user profiles
• Support data quality enhancements and initiatives
• Support Professional Services through day-to-day troubleshooting of systems related issues and own those issues through to complete resolution
• Represent the needs of the business during key meetings and projects; identifying appropriate solutions and determining how technology should be leveraged to make the solution happen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with enterprise CRM and ERP platforms; SFDC, CPQ/BigMachines experience preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in a business systems analyst or equivalent role focused on Quote to cash cycle
• Technology or business oriented Bachelor's Degree
• Prior experience working directly with Sales, Professional Services, Operations, or Sales/Services Leaders is a must
• Structured and highly analytical, systems and process problem solver with strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills to drive consensus across stakeholders
• A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productivity
• Experience with CPQ or complicated pricing methodologies or applications preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience and translate business requirements into system requirements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
