Description

Business Intelligence team provides reporting solutions to the various verticals of Kronos business (e.g. Finance, Professional services etc.). The team works closely with business to define priority & delivery for the changes/projects. The team currently has presence in US (Lowell, MA) & India (Noida, UP).

Responsibilities:
•Develop, Deploy and maintain metadata models, reports, dashboards primarily using IBM Cognos, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI.
•Define and follow development best practices
•Work Closely with the integration team, architects, peers, BAs and business
•Provides inputs/updates to architect, team lead, project manager as required on design, planning, effort, risk management, status reports
•Independently performs problem determination and resolution in the production environment issues and provides production support as needed both during and after normal business hours.
•Gain an extensive working knowledge of business data and user functions & creating related documentation.
•Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology with around 5 years IT development experience in analytics/reporting (development).
•Solid experience using Cognos, PowerBI with multiple database systems (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
•Working experience in SSRS, SSAS desired.
•Demonstrated hands-on experience using SQL and PL/SQL for performing data profiling, formatting and adhoc data analysis
•Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts is required.
•Strong knowledge in Data Warehouse data modeling principles.
•Result driven mindset and ability to communicate and develop strong working relationships with people at all levels in a global environment.
