We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Canadian Sales team. This role is a collaborative position with quota-carrying responsibility for generating net-new sales pipeline. The BDR is responsible for driving targeted, outbound prospecting activities into a set of assigned accounts. The BDR is an extension of the Sales team with a main focus of identifying, developing and creating new business opportunities for the Field Sales Executive. The BDR is responsible for progressing sales opportunities to stage 2 in the sales cycle.

• Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within defined territory with support from the field sales executives as well as field sales management
• Leverages strong prospecting and business development skills to generate incremental revenue opportunities thru outbound calling/prospecting
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of Kronos products and solutions to enhance the clients or prospects knowledge of Kronos and communicate the value of Kronos solution to generate interest and additional meetings
• Partners with the field sales team to promote Kronos’s business initiatives and to enhance the customer or prospects knowledge of Kronos’s products, programs, and services
• Employs expert probing skills to expand contacts or define new product requirements within a prospect and/or customer, while increasing revenue and teaming with field sales
• Maintains a high number of outbound calls and targeted emails to increase number of live conversations per day calling into prospects/customers
• Provides qualified lead information to the field sales organization to assist in account progression or sales pipeline acceleration


• 2 plus years previous business development, prospecting and cold calling,
and/or sales experience in a high technology environment preferred
• BA/BS Preferred

Skills & Competencies:
• Understands the industries Kronos sells into and can have an intelligent
business conversation with a prospect/customer that the prospect/customer
finds valuable
• Comfortable having business conversation with C-level titles
• Utilizes all pertinent social media tools to improve prospecting success.

• Familiar with various sales methodologies (Sandler, Holden, etc)
