The Business System Analyst will be responsible for the Kronos Payroll Services (KPS) business unit software applications. As a member of the KPS team the role is responsible for analyzing, auditing, evaluating and resolving reported errors within KPS business systems or third-party vendor programs, as well as to generate solution recommendations.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Acts as the primary resource to manage the implementation, updates and maintenance of third-party software. Example of software used by KPS business includes delivery software (FedEx and UPS), tax software (MasterTax), benefit software, EFTPS batch provider software, and banking software
• Support KPS’ security standards, policies, controls and safeguards for sensitive business data
• Work closely with Kronos Core IT department to assist in office moves and new office setup by setting up new gear and/or assisting in the breakdown and re-deployment of gear
• Partner with stakeholders in other departments for audits, reporting, projects, and other inter-departmental initiatives
• Assist payroll and treasury teams in addressing time sensitive, client facing issues impacting delivery of services requiring flexibility in timing, quickly re prioritizing of work activities and close communication with team members. Define and document processes, create and update procedures documentations and job aides
• Acts as a liaison with vendors and participates in vendor or system selections
• Troubleshoots and resolves system, data, and process-related issues. Works with others as needed to address issues and enhancements


• B.S. in computer science, information technology or 3-5 years related work experience providing application support to a business operation.
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills; ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using SQL to create reports or write queries.
• Experience setting up and managing print servers.
• Ability to research, define and analyze business problems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and customer communications skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and proven ability to meet deadlines.
