Description

• Works with PM to understand product requirements, epics and sub-epics
• Works under the direction of PM to define product requirements
• Translates business requirements, epics and sub-epics into stories
• Attends with PM stand-ups and sprint reviews
• Creates detailed use cases workflows
• Works with PM & architects to finalize feature designs
• Works with engineering teams to ensure teams have information needed during sprints and grooming sessions
• Represents PM in stand-ups, grooming sessions and sprint reviews
• Participate in business requirements sessions with existing customers to identify the relationship of business needs to product features
• Partner with product managers to understand the application usage patterns
• Work directly with engineering to groom user stories for use in Agile development
• Advise QA engineers to create usage scenarios for test
• Acts as the primary product “go to” person for the scrum team
• Accepts scrum team deliverables at the end of each sprint
• Support product documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8+ years of experience
• Excellent organization and documentation abilities
• A natural ability to understand and interpret non-technical customer requirements into very technical engineering specifications
• A natural behavior of inquisition and ability to identify and eliminate requirements ambiguity
• Excellent problem-solving techniques
• Knowledge of system synthesis, analysis, and verification techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with people
• The ability to work on simultaneous projects and deal with multiple competing priorities
• Working knowledge of requirements management
• General competency in engineering disciplines (software engineering, Quality Assurance, Domain expertise) is preferred
• Background in engineering, quality assurance, and/or systems analysis
• Knowledge of project management processes and tools is preferred
