We are actively seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Engineering team. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who will be responsible for reporting and analyzing financial and project-related data.
Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Business Analyst will;
• Be a key liaison to Finance, Engineering Operations and Engineering delivery teams in planning and executing roadmap deliverables, “on-demand” features and operational improvement projects as well as being a business partner to the Vice President of Product Management
• Provide financial & headcount reporting and extensive analysis that supports an understanding of where monies are being spent within Engineering compared to budget and where efforts to improve efficiencies should be focused
• Define a methodology for tracking headcount (direct, contractor) and maintenance costs – comparing against budget, and mapping budget vs actual costs to established project assumptions.
• Graph, chart and prepare trend analysis against engineering headcount and cost data – with the goal of identifying areas where execution is exceeding prior assumptions and where there is opportunity to improve.
• Yearly planning and budget preparation


• BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ years of project management/operations & analysis at a high-growth company
• Demonstrated success in working in a team environment to address cross-functional issues
• Experience with PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance recommended
• MBA Achievement with Accounting or Financial focus would be ideal
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision is required
• Ability to travel roughly 10% annually
