Description

As an application support analyst, you will work in the AD OPT Professional Services & Support department and will join the Support and Maintenance team. All members of the team work in the new offices of AD OPT Montreal at 5250 Decarie # 500 (Snowdon metro, blue and orange line).
The work is from Monday to Friday, 40h / week. Due to the geographic location of our customers, there may be international travel requirements (~ 1 per year), and some calls may occur outside normal business hours (~ 1 per month).

Responsibilities
The bilingual Application Support Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the Customer Support team to analyze and resolve any technical and technological difficulties involving the software solutions sold by AD OPT to its customers (international airlines based in North America, Asia, Middle East, Oceania, Europe ...).

• Analyze and diagnose technical problems encountered by our customers and recommend solutions, act as Level I and II support and escalate to our team of developers for more complex cases by proposing correction solutions
• Assist and keep clients informed of resolution status
• Review and analyze documentation to identify solutions and improvements to AD OPT applications
• Provide development support (configuration support, problem solving and support)
• Update tool documentation: training, user guides, online help, knowledge base, etc.
• Improve, optimize and maintain the tools provided by the team.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience on software support roles
• Bilingual English / French spoken and written
• Knowledge of Unix and SQL, an asset
• Ability to solve technical and functional problems
• College diploma in computer science
• Strong interest in supporting external clients
• An interest in air operations and planning is an asset
