Description

Work Timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST

• Focus on Payroll accounting processes for EMEA & APAC, mainly India, UK, Belgium, France & Australia
• End to end payroll accounting for international subsidiaries including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with the team in responding multiple queries, Year end India payroll close and compliance
• Responsible for compliance like payroll tax, provident fund, tax returns etc
• Payment and reconciliation of bonus payments, commission accruals and reconciliation of tax
• Preparation and reconciliation of payment summaries
• Working closely with General Ledger teams to ensure smooth and timely month end transactions
• Serve as subject matter expert for all payroll accounting related matters
• Perform payroll systems monitoring and auditing as required
• Optimize payroll accounting processes with automation & standardization
• Assist with end to end system testing for version upgrades and legislative updates
• Assist with internal and external audits

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of payroll accounting work experience
• Experience with payroll accounting for EMEA & APAC region mainly India, UK, Belgium, France & Australia
• Good exposure on payroll process, accounting and compliance on India Payroll
• Excellent Verbal communication skills
• Strong conceptual understanding and experience with Payroll Accounting
• Oracle ERP experience would be a plus
• Bachelors of Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
• Ability to embrace technology and change
• Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
• Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
