Kronos is looking for an experienced Architect to provide technical leadership to our engineering teams. As an Architect, you will be responsible for championing the architectural integrity, consistency and long-term design of multi-tenant, SaaS solutions. This role requires the ability to work effectively at multiple levels spanning from individual engineers to designers and engineering managers.

• Owns the architecture for complete end to end solutions comprised of multiple components/products/services
• Conceptualizes, designs and integrates new capabilities and technologies into existing product lines
• Keeps current on new technologies and makes recommendations on future directions as appropriate. Educates and leads the engineering teams in design practices for cloud-based products
• Identifies & fills technical gaps and facilitates knowledge transfer throughout the organization
• Develops and maintains domain, product and process knowledge to improve the market alignment, product quality and engineering practices within Kronos India
• Exhibits a high degree of skill in matrix management and influencing teams in other geographies
• Collaborates with cross functional groups and senior leadership across geographies to understand the business needs, chart the future product technology strategy and build solutions
• Can provide leadership for junior and senior engineers alike – understanding how to leverage and enhance their current skills
• Must be able to define, communicate & reinforce technical standards and vision
• Must be capable of regularly contributing to shipping releases (fresh development experience) – building frameworks, features and often creatively solving the most challenging problems
• Good coordination and communication skills across teams and cross-geography

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15+ years of experience in software development with architectural responsibility for commercial software products
• A solid engineering foundation indicated by a demonstrated understanding of product design of complex systems and/or web-based enterprise applications in a SaaS multi-tenant environment
• Strong track record of architectural leadership manifested through successfully completed SaaS products that yielded competitive advantages in their respective markets, ideally in the company growth environment
• Expertise in Java/JEE, Rest API's, Design Patterns, Cloud Platforms, Object-Oriented analysis, design, programming, database modeling, RDBMS, React or other UI technologies and other Java related technologies
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results and to influence others
• Demonstrated success in quickly learning new technologies & systems and the ability to apply the same design principles or complementary ones as they make sense
