Seeking an Architect who drive the teams with the front-end architectural direction and support those decisions by articulating the benefits and trade offs to the UX, development, and product owner teams. Someone who loves technology and keeping up with it is second nature. Mentor development teams in the use of modern front-end development techniques and best practices, WebSockets, HTML5; LESS; Javascript (Angular 1.x, 2.0); front end frameworks; and build tools such as grunt, gulp, npm, yarn and related tools.
• Apply modern principles of component-driven design and development best practices to implement designs in code, both at the prototype stage and final application integration stage
• You love convincing other peers and junior developers of the benefits of using any pattern that has been battle tested.
• You are the go to person for all UI questions in your crew and are happy to answer any questions articulating your vision clearly.
• Collaborate with other developers, UX team, content team, quality assurance team, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver application enhancements and bug fixes
• You know what trade-offs are worth it for the greater good. You understand great artists ship.
• Negotiate architecture trade-offs between non-quality attributes and business requirements.
• You know how to document with enough detail that anyone can grasp your plan and know how to go about achieving it.
• Document designs for complex application platforms.
• You can smell code or design debt from a mile away.
• Review designs and code for quality, performance and efficient memory usage
• Handling 1000s of concurrent requests is part of your everyday design.
• Architect solutions in Node and NGINX to for highly performant and developer friendly application platform
• You know how to talk visual language and wireframes.
• Collaborate with UX team to provide feedback on implementation options and developer effort for UX designs


• Expert knowledge in building frameworks in managing patterns across HTML/CSS/JS & node and proven ability in developing Quality Software
• Experience in responsive layouts
• Experience in developing NodeJS applications in large scale
• 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with 2+ years of that experience in Architecture or in a technical leadership role
• Strong observational analysis skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with and experience working within Agile development methodology
• Strong proficiency working with diagramming and prototyping software, as well as familiarity with front-end code and web/mobile-based environments
• Passionate about how people use technology in the workplace
