Description

As the Application Consultant, you will utilize the defined implementation process to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. You will also work in a team environment remotely or at customer sites to implement and support products that Kronos sells to its customers and will work closely with the Kronos Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers toward completing system implementations. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness are a requirement of this role.
Other responsibilities will include the following customer/site related tasks:
• Using professional concepts, implement software in various environments
• Perform business rule analysis
• Configure software applications
• Understand and configure software interfacing products
• Follow practices and procedures in analyzing a variety of business situations or
• Data requiring a review of a variety of factors
• Provide knowledge transfer for customers
• Analyze enhanced requirements and creating process documentation, diagrams and feature specifications
• Advise customers on system configuration, industry specific features and system processes and procedures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• 5 plus years experience with healthcare scheduling and staffing software from a programming or support standpoint preferred
• Experience building, testing and implementing 3rd party interfaces using batched processes with XML or flat file format
• Working knowledge of HL7
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server platforms
• Strong knowledge of current Microsoft SQL Server with the ability to write complex queries, identify issues, and perform administration (backup, restore, maintenance)
• Strong knowledge of IIS, virtual directories, host headers, application pools, and browser security settings
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking - Experience with scripting and/or programming such as Power Shell, VB, C#, etc
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, object permissions, and LDAP queries
• Flexibility to travel as needed up to 25%
