The Analytics Architect is responsible for technical design for all business and technical aspects of the Workforce Dimensions Vision offering, along with various customer specific custom analytics offerings.
The architect must be well versed in the required tools for both high level architecture and detailed designs. Must be able to understand and communicate industry best practices for high volume data flows and performance-oriented data transformation.
Must be able to directly interact with other Kronos Analytics consultants and product managers to gather and document required information effectively.

• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams on BigQuery design and incoming data streams.
• Participate actively in infrastructure, database and application design, focusing on scalability and data quality.
• Collect business requirements and develop as well as document data models to satisfy those requirements as well as oversee the development and execution of projects
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, platforms and application infrastructure on Google Cloud.
• Design and implement scalable data architectures leveraging Google BigQuery.
• Define, design and implement data access patterns for multiple analytical and operational workloads.
• Create information solutions covering data security, data privacy, data governance, metadata management, multi-tenancy and mixed workload management.
• Work with product management to understand functional requirements, shape the technical outcome and design the feature from inception to delivery
• Interface with internal stakeholders to solve broad business goals with database solutions
• Be directly involved in the business development process; specifically, delivering demos to show how data can drive business goals
• Provide support to project manager through developing tasks, estimates, and dependencies to meet expectations


• Experience in designing and implementing SAAS data warehouse solutions using BigQuery, transformation solutions (e.g. DataPrep, Data Flow, SQL, Python, Cloud Functions), and supporting technologies (e.g. Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub)
• Experience and understanding of the Workforce Management, HCM or related subject area required
• Be able to build pilot solutions and proofs of concept with minimal direction
• Deep understanding of using data and analytics services to solve enterprise data challenges
• Adept at SQL and Python
• Experienced in the GCP platform. GCP certification preferred
• Knowledge of GCP, and other Google offerings centered around Data and Analytics (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Dataprep, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage Composer, Looker, Data Studio, etc.)
• Machine Learning technology knowledge a plus. (BQML, Tensorflow, etc..)
