Description

• Assist with creation and distribution of monthly reporting packages using both financial and operational based metrics while adhering to deadlines
• Participate in the monthly close process – including journal entry preparation/analysis for revenue recognition and expense reporting
• MS Access database update with monthly expense and headcount numbers
• Assist with monthly forecasts (bookings, revenue, expense, capital and headcount) that incorporates current data and any relevant functional input
• Ensure off-line reporting reconciles with existing system-based management reporting
• Understand the forecast/budget and drive meaningful interpretation by doing the variance analysis with Actuals
• Establish and maintain financial reporting, metrics and analysis that meet the needs of the business, corporate finance and executive leadership
• Support ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Financial Analyst FP&A role
• Minimum Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance. Chartered Accountant or MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed institute is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience with Cognos reporting (Report Studio & Solution View) will be a plus
• Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company is required
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to align with various teams across the organization
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues
• Experience working with different data sources such as ERP systems knowledge (E.g. transaction flows) required (Oracle preferred)
• Must be able to work with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently on standard tasks
• Can do attitude with a Desire to learn new processes
