The UKG product alliances team is looking for an experienced Alliances Technical Lead. This person will drive the success of our partnerships through technical integration support. To be successful in this role, you must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Technical Leads are the primary partner technical resource for both partners and sales teams.

The Alliances Technical Lead will act as the liaison between our partner development teams and our internal product and development teams and oversee all aspects of technical integrations between partners and UKG Pro and UKG Ready solutions. Additionally, Alliances Technical Leads are a critical piece of the field team, ensuring success via partner technical sales enablement, integrations, and recommendations.

We are looking for someone that can bring not just experience, motivation and energy to the team, but someone passionate about alliances and the HR technology industry. This team operates in a high-energy and fast-paced environment and requires an individual that is self-motivated and can manage numerous and concurrent initiatives.


• Review partner technical specifications to align them with UKG Pro and UKG Ready API and technical documentation and determine the fit and feasibility of a successful integration.
• Assist product teams in reviewing, creating, and updating technical documentation and API guides.
• Drive the API roadmap and prioritization of partner APIs within the overall product roadmap.
• Manage partner integration support calls and provide ongoing partner technical support including setting up UKG Connect accounts, provisioning testing environments, responding to partner questions and support requests, and managing ongoing release support of integrations once live.
• Act as a subject matter expert on both standard and custom 3rd party integrations to partners, customers, and UKG team members.
• Provide internal support to our sales and ERM teams on the details of our partner integrations.
• Work closely with the executive, product, technology, sales, marketing, and legal teams to launch new partnerships and ensure that partnership strategy is in line with business initiatives throughout the organization.
• Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving technical issues.
• Help set and drive product strategy with key partners.
• Define partnership requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of program performance, aggregate feedback, and explore new strategic opportunities.
• Keep up to date on industry news and trends to drive strategy.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree
• 3+ years alliances and/or integration experience, HCM industry experience preferred
• Preferred experience working with API protocols (i.e. SOAP, REST, GraphQL), supporting technologies (i.e. SQL tools, Postman), and a passion for ‘API-First’ ecosystem integrations
• Experience with solutions that manage Benefits and Payroll (i.e. Certified Payroll Professional)
• Strong interpersonal skills conducive to collaboration with both internal and external partners.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to remain objective and identify options to challenging scenarios. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
• Unwavering dedication to making the right decisions to benefit UKG and our customers.
• Ability to stay organized and analytical and drive successful technical integrations via creative and adaptive approaches in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members.
